Millia Institute of Technology is a minority college in Bihar established in 2002 by Millia Educational Trust (MET). It is affiliated to BNMU Madhepura and approved by AICTE, Delhi. The founder principal of this college is late Prof S.C Roy (Ex HOD MIT Muzaffarpur). Initially this college started with a small library and four core branch Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science later in 2007 Civil was added. In 2008 college started another venture polytechnic in same campus. Another branch of college is in Kishanganj named Kishanganj College of Engineering and Technology and polytechnic college are running since 2008 itself. At present MIT conducts various courses.
